Is Platanus the official airport shuttle bus operator in Croatia?
Yes — Platanus is the officially licensed shuttle bus operator for both Split Airport (SPU) and Dubrovnik Airport (DBV). We are certified by Croatian transport authorities and operate as the designated shuttle service for both airports.
How do I get from Split Airport to Split city centre?
Take the Platanus airport shuttle bus directly from the pickup point at Split Airport. The bus runs to Split main bus station (Autobusni kolodvor Split) and operates in sync with flight arrivals and departures. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes.
How long is the journey from Dubrovnik Airport to the city?
The Platanus shuttle bus from Dubrovnik Airport (DBV) to Dubrovnik Old Town (Ploče Gate) takes approximately 30–40 minutes depending on traffic. The bus also stops at the main Dubrovnik bus station on Obala Pape Ivana Pavla II.
Do I need to book in advance or can I pay on the bus?
We recommend that you book your ticket online in advance to ensure a seat, especially during the peak summer season when buses fill up quickly. You can also buy your tickets in person at our booth at the “Arrivals” area at Dubrovnik Airport, and at the booth in front of the buses at Split Airport, and you can pay by card or cash. You can buy your tickets at the ticket office at the bus stations. For passengers traveling from Dubrovnik to the airport, we also have an additional ticket office at the cable car station near the old town.
How much does the airport shuttle cost?
Our shuttle bus operates at a fixed price — no surge pricing, no hidden fees. The current price for Dubrovnik airport shuttle is 10€, and for Split airport shuttle is 10€, for a one-way ticket. Children under 6 travel free of charge.
What happens if my flight is delayed?
Our drivers monitor flight arrivals in real time. If your flight is delayed, just hop on the next bus, ticket is valid entire day — you will not be left behind. This is one of the key advantages of booking the official licensed shuttle rather than a private transfer.
Are tickets scanned on the bus?

Is there air conditioning on the buses?
Yes — all Platanus buses are air conditioned.
Is there WiFi on the buses?
No, WiFi is not available on board.
